myenergi Zappi GLO
The Zappi GLO is myenergi's newest charger — the same solar know-how as the Zappi v2.1 in a simpler, screen-free unit. It can charge your car from surplus solar that would otherwise be exported for a few cents, and keeps your home within its supply limit using the CT sensor included in the box. There are no buttons to learn: plug in and it charges, with everything else handled in the myenergi app.

The Zappi v2.1 is myenergi's flagship solar charger, with an on-unit screen and full control over how your car uses the sun. It charges from surplus solar that would otherwise be exported for a few cents, and keeps your home within its supply limit using the CT sensor included in the box. The multiphase model runs on single-phase or three-phase from the same unit, at up to 22kW. Three modes give you control: Fast (full speed from grid and solar), Eco (solar with a grid top-up) and Eco+ (waits for surplus solar).

Common questions about our chargers
Do I need a special electrician to install an EV charger?
Yes — EV charger installation is prescribed electrical work in Victoria and must be carried out by a licensed A-grade electrician. All ChargEV installations are completed by licensed insured electricians who issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion.
How long does installation take?
Most standard residential installations take 2 to 3 hours. More complex jobs involving longer cable runs or switchboard upgrades may take 3 to 5 hours. We assess your setup from photos before booking so there are no surprises on the day.
Can I install a charger if I live in an apartment?
Yes in many cases. Strata EV charging is now actively supported by Victorian law and federal ARENA funding. Contact us and we can assess your building and advise on the right path forward.
Will a charger work with my solar system?
Yes. Both myenergi chargers — the Zappi v2.1 and the Zappi GLO — are built for solar and will automatically charge your car from surplus solar using the sensor included in the box. The Evnex range can also charge from solar with a CT sensor. The Tesla Wall Connector and Autel MaxiCharger charge at a set speed whenever you plug in. On a sunny day some of that power comes from your panels, but they can't adjust to use only your spare solar.
I already have a charger — can you just install it?
Yes. We install customer-supplied chargers subject to them meeting Australian safety standards and holding RCM certification. Contact us with your charger brand and model and we will confirm compatibility before booking.
